The description on the print states:
N404PH is a Bell 407 operated by PHI Air Medical, LLC and based in Balstrop, Texas. Med 14’s crew consists of a Pilot, a Flight Nurse, and a Flight Paramedic who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide emergency air transport to critically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients serving the Austin area out of Bastrop County.
The Bell 407 is one of the most versatile and reliable utility aircraft in the world today. Power is generated by a Rolls Royce 250/C47B turboshaft providing a top speed of 161 mph, a range of 372 miles, and greater handling at hotter temperatures and higher altitudes. It features the same four-blade main rotor developed for the military’s Bell OH-58D Kiowa for improved performance and better ride comfort. Enhanced cockpit systems including night vision, satellite weather, GPS navigation, and satellite tracking allow the pilot to operate in a 24-hour environment with reduced workload and increased safety.
PHI Air Medical is the leading air ambulance provider in the United States, safely transporting more than 30,000 patients a year from more than 80 bases across the country.
