N389P is an Airbus H125 operated by PHI Air Medical, LLC and based at Safford Regional Airport (SAD) in Safford, AZ.

Air Evac 21’s crew consists of a pilot, a flight nurse, and a paramedic who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide emergency air transport to critically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The H125 is a single-engine workhorse providing high performance, enhanced maneuverability and reduced pilot workload. State of the art technology includes an Arriel 2D engine equipped with a single channel (DECU) Digital Engine Control Unit with a mechanical backup system, Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) and autopilot, a glass cockpit featuring three liquid-crystal displays (LCDs), digital avionics, Full Authority Digital Engine Control, and dual hydraulics.
