N261MH is operated by Metro Aviation Inc, and based at Loraine County Regional Airport (KLPR). The aircraft is one of three EC145s and a critical care ground unit that make up the MetroHealth system providing transport between local hospitals and emergency transport to MetroHealth Medical Center.
Metro Life Flight was founded in 1982 as the first air medical program in Northeast Ohio. Each Metro Life Flight mission consists of two pilots to maximize flight safety in challenging weather conditions, and flight nurses, advanced certified nurse practitioners, and physicians to ensure the highest standard of care.
