N350MP is an Airbus AS350 B3 operated by the Memphis Police Department Air Support Division based out of the Memphis Police Department Heliport base (27TN) in Memphis, Tennessee. The Air Support Division is used by department units and outside agencies in various types of operations including law enforcement, search and rescue, aerial observation and reconnaissance. The aircraft is well equipped for search and rescue, which is especially useful during floods and other water related emergencies.

The AS350 B3 is the high-performance Astar variant. Powered by an Arriel 2B turbo-shaft engine equipped with a single channel (DECU) Digital Engine Control Unit, the aircrat has a top speed of 178 miles per hour, a range of 411 miles, and service ceiling of 15,100 feet.
