N105JL 900807D was manufactured in 1980 in Culver City, California. It was acquired by Western Helicopters Inc., in 1996 as N105JL and used for specialized flight training, including emergency procedures, full-down autorotations, mountainous terrain, and high-altitude operations, along with providing utility services for customers across San Bernardino County. The helicopter's ownership was transferred to Helicopters Unlimited LLC in 2018 as N105JL and leased back to Western Helicopters Inc. The helicopter suffered a hard landing and sudden stoppage in 2018.
