N625CF is a Eurocopter AS365 N3 working under the direction of Premier Health CareFlight and based at Warren County Airport (I68) in Lebanon, Ohio. The crew consists of a pilot and two certified flight nurses who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to calls for severely injured or ill patients who require immediate treatment. The aircraft is powered by two Arriel 2C turboshaft engines, each generating 838 horsepower for a top speed of 200 miles per hour and a range of 514 miles.
CareFlight operates four helicopter bases serving a 150 mile radius from Miami Valley Hospital in an area including most of Ohio and parts of West Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana. The program, established in 1983, serves more than 150 hospitals and more than 300 community life squads, fire departments, and police departments in over 17 counties.
