The description on the print states:
N153HP is a GA8-TC-320 Airvan operated by the CHP Golden Gate Division Air Operations Unit and based at Napa County airport (KAPC) in Napa, California. The unit operates two airplanes and two helicopters covering nine San Francisco Bay Area counties in an area approximately 6,923 square miles with a population of over 7 million people. The CHP is the primary law enforcement agency for freeways and highways, state-owned facilities and properties, and unincorporated communities.
The aerial platform’s crew includes a CHP Officer/Pilot and a CHP Officer/Flight Officer and is available 24/7 to assist with pursuit and traffic management, surveillance, aerial photography and mapping. It is also available for personnel and blood and organ transport, fire detection, and to assist other law enforcement agencies as needed. On-board equipment includes a retractable, high-definition L3 Wescam MX-15 IR imaging system deployed in flight and operated by the Flight Officer from the rear compartment, a Rhotheta multi-band radio direction finder to detect stolen vehicles equipped with anti-theft transponders, and multiple scanners and radios to monitor and communicate with the personnel and agencies it is actively supporting.
