N329RX is operated by REACH Air Medical Services and based at Ells Field in Willits, California. The Airbus H135 P3H is a highly advanced, light twin-engine helicopter equipped with the Helionix avionics suite and Pratt & Whitney Canada engines. "P3" indicates the maximum engine and payload performance, and "H" denotes Helionix integration featuring a 4-axis autopilot, flight envelope protection, and a Synthetic Vision System (SVS) to lower pilot workload. The aircraft features the FADEC system (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) for state-of-the-art power management. This new generation of light-twin EMS helicopters was developed in close cooperation with doctors, rescue experts, designers, and engineers and in compliance with the strictest guidelines.
